Tyrannosaurus Rex was named by Henry Fairfield Osborn, president of the American Museum of Natural History in 1905. He used greek, tyrannos, (meaning "tyrant") and sauros, (meaning "lizard"). and Latin, rex (meaning "king"). Translates as Tyrant Lizard the King!

And so, the First Dinosaur that I have painted, It had to be a T rex really. I decided to get all Jurassic on this one with lava and lush vegetation. While I was drawing it, it felt right to absorb some influence form hot wheels cars! (The things that go through you mind when your sketching stuff out can be most peculiar! )Thus there are orange and red flashes on his head!
