In St Ives, The famous seaside resort in Cornwall, it is estimated that 35,000* chips are stolen by seagulls across the summer season. The most successful thefts are achieved when tourists are innocently eating their chips looking out across the harbour. The gulls’ swoops down out of the sun, and snatch..... the chips are gone!
