Tiger asleep on a pile of Cushions - Card
Tiger asleep on a pile of Cushions - Card
Why are things that are so deadly so beautiful? This is one of the questions at the heart of William Blakes famous poem, ‘The Tyger’, published in 1794. ‘Tyger Tyger Burning Bright in the forests of the night’ is the first line. Blake explores the duality between aesthetic beauty and primal ferocity. Blake’s philosophy is kind of summarised in a question, Did he that make the lamb also make the tiger? The struggle of humanity is based on the concept of the contrary nature of things. Truth, his poetry suggests, lays in comprehending the contradictions between innocence and experience.

Thank you so much
A truly unique take on the natural world expressed with whimsey and such vibrant imagery. Family and friends are always “wowed” with they receive these cards, and many have commented that they are beautiful enough to frame. I look forward to purchasing more in the future.
Beautifully illustrated, colorful, fun. Exquisite patterns.
Just love this tiger! I’ve bought before and every recipient loves it.
